Mary B. Fierros

BONILLAS, Mary (Tonia) Fierros 79, born July 28, 1941 in Tucson AZ, peacefully passed and went to be with the Lord on July 04, 2021.

Preceded in death by husband, Roy Fierros; parents, Casimiro and Josephina Bonilla; daughter, Mona Fierros; grandson, Roy David Jr.; sisters Carmen Julia Aragon, Doloros (Chicky) Gomez, Yolanda Sellers and Connie Lopez. Survived by daughter, Rosemary Fierros and son, Roy David Fierros; grandchildren, Kasey, Jordan, Abigail, Nathan and Timmy; great-grandson, Isaac; sisters, Olivia (Armando) Teyechea, Josie (Frank) Lopez, Estella (Armando) Salgado. Godchildren Kathy Freeman, Ronnie and Ruben Pallanes and Stephanie Corral. She was also loved by many cousins nieces, nephews, and friends. Our dearest Mother/nana/sister/tia and friend loved spending time with her family and was the strongest woman we had ever known. Tonia was always the life of the party hence why she was given the nickname Party animal she was also known to the family as Sister Mary. Mary has always put those she loved before her, As the eldest sister of 8 she always made sure the girls had clothes, shoes, dolls, etc. She was the strongest Angel of God. She wore a big bright smile and held her head up high. Tonia loved to Watch NBA with her favorite team being the Phoenix Suns, when dancing with the stars was on she wouldn't talk to anyone till it was over. Mary was a dancing queen herself she loved to dance to Tejano music make tamales spend time with family especially her kids and grandkids. When she had her alone time she made sure to visit the slots or go for a dance or two at the bars with loved ones. She will never be forgotten she will be greatly missed please join us on not only the Celebration of her Birthday but to lay her to rest On July 28, 2021, at Santa Cruz Church Mass at 10:00 am followed by Burial at Holy Hope Cemetery.
