John Anthony Perri

Our dear brother John passed away peacefully at age 92 on June 28, 2021. John was born one of thirteen children on September 8th, 1928 in Trinidad, CO. He is preceded in death by his parents Teresa and Simone and seven siblings. John was an entrepreneur in Pueblo Colorado, running a quilt store and bridal shop, and dealing in antiques and estates. John also donated his time to charity work. He was a fantastic ballroom dancer, spoke three languages, and loved to cook. His gentle nature and kind smile greeted all who met him. He is survived by his siblings Virginia, Matt, Dorothy James, Frances, Albert and numerous nieces and nephews. John will be dearly missed by all, but especially his family. A rosary and viewing will be followed by memorial mass at St. Ambrose Church on Monday, July 12th at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, John would ask that his charity work be continued by all with the heart of Mother Teresa and the compassion of Pope Francis.

The family would like to thank Hospice Harmony for the excellent care given to John by Joanne, Shannon, Charlene, Sonya, and Constance, and the special care given by the Caregivers at Famiglia Amore, namely Linda, Kia, Ramona, and Cindy. God Bless all these women who went above and beyond to care for our John.
