Yolanda Gamez Perez, born on September 9, 1953, in Tucson, Arizona, left this world on March 4, 2026. A proud graduate of Sunnyside High School, she furthered her education at the University of Arizona, where she earned her degree and became a dedicated bilingual teacher, inspiring many throughout her career.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jose and Socorro Gamez, and her brother, Gilbert Gamez. She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Jose Perez, and her cherished children: Angelica Gamez, Jose-Angel Gamez, and Liliana Gamez-Perez. Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved siblings, Gloria and Margie, brothers Joe and Carlos Gamez, along with her treasured grandchildren, Gabriel and Veneice Noperi, Savannah Gamez-Perez, Anavay Cano, and her great-granddaughter, Athena Noperi.

Yolanda had a profound love for taking trips with her children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will forever be held dear. Her spirit and love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.

Yolanda is now at peace with our Heavenly Father, and her legacy will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, dear Yolanda, for eternity.
