It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Teresa A. Rivera, age 83, of Tucson, Arizona, who gained her angel wings on September 18, 2026.
Teresa was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was filled with love, strength, kindness, and compassion. She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a Nursing Assistant in Radiation Oncology at University Medical Center. Her nurturing spirit and compassionate heart were reflected not only in her work but also in the unconditional love she gave to her family.
Teresa had a special love for elephants and enjoyed collecting them throughout her life. Much like the elephants she treasured, she represented strength, wisdom, and an unbreakable bond with family. Her collection was one of the many things that made her so special and will forever remind her loved ones of her.
Above all, Teresa's greatest pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind her five beloved children, Elsa, Frank, Adam, Rebecca, and Maria, along with 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Andie, Mercy, Chrissy, Gertrude, and Lilly, her brothers, Robert and Johnny, and many extended family members and friends.
While her passing leaves an emptiness in our hearts, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved parents, Jesusita and Adam; her brothers, Adam and Lino; and her cherished granddaughter, Michelle, who all preceded her in death.
Teresa's life was a beautiful reflection of love, resilience, and devotion to family. Her warmth, and countless acts of kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on through the generations she helped shape and the precious memories she leaves behind.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
