Sonny Anthony-Luis Reyes

Sonny Anthony Luis Reyes, 64, of Tucson, passed away on June 12, 2019. Sonny is survived by his wife of 18 years; Angelita Medrano Reyes, sons; Chinito, J.J., Angel and Richard; daughters, Deedee, Coli and Molly; brothers, Joey, John, Michael, David and Ted, sisters; Maria, Vicky, Annie, Claire and Tina, 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and ex-wife Gloria V. Reyes. He is preceded in death by his mother; Mary Villa Colmenero.  Sonny and Angie met in Jr. High School. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather that loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and hiking the mountains. His nickname was 'Papa Bear' and he was known for being social; making new friends everywhere he went and always lending a helping hand. He took pride in his work and in all of his children and grandchildren and family. He was a deputy, butcher, miner hard working man that will never be forgotten and forever in our hearts.
