Socorro "Coyo" Valdez Silva

On Wednesday December, 9 2020, Socorro Valdez Silva “Coyo” a loving mother, sister, grandmother and a friend too many passed away peacefully at home at the age of 70. Socorro was born on June 27, 1950 to Grace V. Bonillas and Antonio Silva in Nogales, AZ. She was diagnosed with cancer in April 2020 and loss her battle. She leaves behind her children Roxanne Silva Oropeza, Javier (Kiko) and Dominic Silva; her brother’s Francisco Canez (Casey), Ernesto Bonillas (Dina), Guillermo (Willie), sister Virginia Sanchez, and Anastacia Cordova( George) She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who she loved very much. Socorro loved to volunteer in her community and looked forward to the Christmas season to ring the bells. She loved to meet people, Her Smile will radiate in our memories. She is now in heaven with her mother, sister, nephew, niece and many of her friends. She will be greatly missed by us all. Funeral services will be held on December 29, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Chapel on 2580 S. 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. Services will 9am-11am for family and friends. Martinez is asking for all to wear their mask and social distant. Holy Hope Cemetery will follow right after at 3555 N. Oracle Rd, Tucson AZ, 85705. Thank you.
