Sergio's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to the banking industry. As a commercial loan officer, he served in Latin America, Mexico, and the USA, tirelessly contributing his expertise and knowledge.

Beyond his professional life, Sergio had a profound love for literature. He found solace in reading and writing, lending his talent to various newspapers and magazines throughout his journey. Known for his distinctive sense of humor, Sergio brought laughter into the lives of those around him. However, nothing brought him more joy than indulging in a delicious meal - he truly cherished food!

Throughout his years, Sergio generously volunteered for numerous community organizations. His selflessness extended to San Felipe De Jesus Church, the C.A.S.A. Program, the local hospital, and the community food bank. He went further by sharing his wisdom as a teacher at Pima Community College, offering citizenship classes and English as a second language courses to adults seeking to improve their lives.

Sergio held memberships in Toastmasters International and the Rotary Club for many years, embracing opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals who shared his passion for personal growth and community service. Notably, he played an integral role in organizing the Jerry Lewis telethon for the betterment of the community.

A man of faith, Sergio fervently believed in Christ and consistently prayed for the wellbeing of his family. In his leisure time, he found joy in woodworking and tending to his garden. A treasured tradition between Sergio and his daughter was sitting outdoors together, savoring a cup of coffee while taking in their surroundings.

Animals held a special place in Sergio's heart; he had an immense fondness for dogs which was evident through the many canine companions he welcomed into his life over the years.

Above all else, Sergio was a loving father and dedicated husband who shared 58 blissful years with Teresita. He lived life on his own terms and eventually passed away peacefully as he desired, in the comfort of his sleep.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister "El Chapito".

He is survived by his loving wife: Teresita; daughters: Lizzie Zamora Menefee and Claudia Zamora; his sisters: Maria "El Violin" and Rebecca "La Garapata". His dog: Napoleon as well as may family and friends.

Sergio's legacy will forever be celebrated by all those fortunate enough to have known him. His contributions to the banking industry, his passion for literature, his commitment to community service, and his unwavering love for his family are just a few of the countless ways he impacted the lives of others. Sergio will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the extraordinary life he led.
