Ruth Simpson, born on January 22, 1990, in Tucson, Arizona, left this world to soon on November 2, 2025. A dazzling light, Ruth brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a loving and caring individual whose vibrant spirit brightened the lives of her family and friends; she was always happy, embracing life with enthusiasm that could make anyone smile.
Ruth was a proud graduate of Alta Vista High School in Tucson and then pursued her education at Brookline College where she received her certificate in Billing and Coding for the medical field. After completing her education and working in the medical field since 2011, she spent the last three years as a homemaker devoted to her family, particularly cherishing her role as a mother. Her son, Carlos, held a special place in her heart and was her proudest accomplishment. Ruth also took great pride in raising her husband's brother, Joe Perez, as if he were her own son, showcasing her boundless love and dedication.
In her spare time, Ruth enjoyed gaming with her children and found solace in tending to her beloved plants. She also found joy in organizing her home. Her adventurous spirit led her on many travels, creating cherished memories that will long be remembered by those who shared them with her. She was also an animal lover, with pets who added joy and companionship to her life.
Ruth is survived by her beloved husband, who have been together for 18 years, Carlos Simpson, their children, Carlos Simpson and Joe Perez, and her mother, Lupita Acuna, along with her step-father, Victor Alberto Acuna. She leaves behind her siblings, Jordan Galindo, Fernanda Galindo, Victor Alberto Acuna Leon, and Gabriel Acuna, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She is preceded in death by her father, Sergio Francisco Galindo, whose absence is keenly felt in this time of mourning.
A visitation in honor of Ruth will be held on November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Chapels located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. It is a chance for family and friends to gather, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful soul that Ruth was. Though her life was tragically cut short, her memories will forever be cherished, her laughter remembered, and her love will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who knew her.
