Born in Nogales, Sonora, and leaving this life in Rio Rico, Arizona, Doña Rosa was a remarkable woman whose legacy is rich with love, laughter, and cherished family traditions.

Her career began in the bustling aisles of La Frontera Market and later transitioned to MC Miny Market, where she was not just an employee but became a familiar, beloved figure known to many. But beyond her work, it was her personality that truly defined her - a radiant spirit whose warmth and humor were felt by everyone who crossed her path. Doña Rosa's unforgettable smile would light up any room, and her cooking was the heart of so many family gatherings. The holidays were particularly special, where her delicious tamales drew her family together, filling their hearts and bellies with love.

Doña Rosa had a profound influence on her family, instilling in them a love for cooking and nurturing from an early age. She taught her children the art of making tortillas, sharing not just recipes but the essence of tradition and togetherness. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and laughter, where she took pride in caring for her son, Carlos E. Uribe, and her daughters: Maria Antonieta Jimenez, Mirna Alicia Uribe, Monica Uribe, and Maritza Salazar. Her pride extended to her 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, whom she adored and cared for deeply, often taking them to school and ensuring they felt loved.

As the days turned into years, Doña Rosa's life was defined not only by her roles as a mother and grandmother but also by the joy she brought to every celebration. She danced with exuberance at parties, captivating those around her, leaving behind beautiful memories that her loved ones will carry in their hearts forever.

Her services will be a testament to the love she shared with her family and community. Visitation will take place on September 4, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales. A Mass to honor her memory will follow the next day, September 5, 2024, beginning at 2:30 PM at San Felipe de Jesus Parish. Finally, she will be laid to rest at the Nogales City Cemetery, surrounded by the love of her family.

Nacida en Nogales, Sonora, y dejando esta vida en Río Rico, Arizona, Doña Rosa Fue una mujer extraordinaria cuyo legado es rico en amor, risas y queridas tradiciones familiares.

Su carrera comenzó en los bulliciosos pasillos de La Frontera Market y luego pasó a MC Mini Market, donde no era solo una empleada sino que se convirtió en una figura familiar y querida conocida por muchos. Pero más allá de su trabajo, fue su personalidad lo que realmente la definió: un espíritu radiante cuya calidez y humor sentían todos los que se cruzaban en su camino. La inolvidable sonrisa de Doña Rosa iluminaba cualquier habitación y su cocina era el centro de tantas reuniones familiares.
