Richard S. Rivera

Richard Silvas Rivera passed away on November 11th ,2025.He was an amazing Son, Brother, Husband, Uncle, Nino, Friend, Father figure, and many other roles. He led his life with a spirit of faith and a humble heart. Richard dedicated his life to his family and to the countless people he impacted along the way. He was the definition of a hardworking man and a source of wisdom.

 He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Ortiz-Rivera, his parents Benjamin and Connie Rivera, his brother Ben Rivera.

 Survived by his brother Michael Rivera, his sisters Sally Roberts, Emily Alvarez, Betty De La Garza, Godson Andrew Lopez, Nieces and Nephews Stephanie Alvarado, Stephen Alvarado, Daniel Lopez, Alexis Lopez and Lelissa Lopez.

 Services will be held November 25th, 2025. Viewing will start at 7:30 a.m. for family and 8:30 a.m. for friends at Martinez Funeral Chapel, 2580 S. 6th Ave, 85713. Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 1950 W. Irvington Pl., Tucson, AZ 85746, followed by mass at 11:00 a.m. Richard will be laid to rest at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N. Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
