We are gathered here to celebrate the life of Ramon L. Leon, a loving father, devoted husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, caring friend, and an outstanding member of his community. Ramon lived a long and fulfilling life leaving countless memories behind.
Ramon was born on August 31st, 1930 in Goodyear, Arizona. He was a hard worker from a young age and he always believed in pursuing excellence in all his endeavors. Ramon had a great personality that endeared him to many people who knew him. He loved his family with all his heart and he was married to his beloved wife Mercedes D. Leon for an incredible 60 years.
Ramon's legacy in this world is enriched by the impact he had on those around him. Ramon worked hard to make everyone feel loved no matter who they were or where they came from. Ramon was one of the people you meet only once in a lifetime: deeply kind-hearted, generous, and compassionate.
Ramon found joy in simple things like spending time with his beloved family and friends. He enjoyed being around his children Carlos A. Leon (Deborah Roun), Debbie M. Leon, Diane L. Coleman, Ray A. Leon Sr. (Linda), Marco Antonio Leon (Lourdes); 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Ray Jr. (Krystal), Cami (Oscar ), Alex, Alejandro (Jessica), Jesus (Briana), Isaiah and Suzanna and 7 great-grandchildren, Adryana, Ray III, Emiliano, Skylar, Liana, Kaleb, and Blake with one on the way, Noe Jesus; as well as his sister-in-laws Hortencia Daniel and Rosie Leon.
In death, Ramon was surrounded by his family at home which is how he always wanted it to be. We take comfort knowing that he is now reunited with his departed friends and family who have gone before him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Angelita Leon and siblings, Frank Leon, Jose Leon, JuanitaTupiken and Jesus Leon.
Ramon leaves behind so many treasured memories - memories that will never be forgotten but instead carried forward with love as we celebrate his life today. He may be gone from this world physically but will forever live on in our hearts and minds.
Rest in peace Ramon L. Leon - You will always be cherished and remembered as one of the most humble and noble person we've ever known!
