Ramon M. Chavarria was born on August 31, 1945, in Tumacacori, Arizona, and passed away on September 21, 2026, in Green Valley, Arizona.
Ramon was a hardworking man who spent most of his life working in construction. He was devoted to providing for and taking care of his family. His wife and daughters were always his number one priority, and he loved them unconditionally.
At a young age, Ramon developed a love for roping. Throughout his life, he also enjoyed playing golf, going to the gym, and walking Tumamoc Hill.
To know Ramon was to know a man who truly loved to dance. Whether he was at a wedding, a family celebration, or simply dancing at home, it brought him immense happiness. He danced through life with a beautiful energy and joy that those who knew him will always remember. In a moment his family will forever treasure, his very last dance was shared with his beloved grandson, Cristiano, just a few weeks before his passing.
Above all, Ramon loved his family. He treasured his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending their sporting events and cheering them on. One of the traditions closest to his heart was welcoming his entire family into his home for their traditional Christmas Eve celebration, creating memories that will live on for generations.
Ramon is survived by his loving wife, Helen Chavarria; his daughters, Vivian Evangelista (Angel Evangelista) and Lori Badillo (Javier Badillo); his grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Kailee, Mia, Gianna, Diego, Bella, and Milana; and his many beloved great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tiburcia Chavarria; his father, Juan Chavarria; and his sister, Lydia Alegria.
Ramon will be remembered for his strength, his hardworking nature, his love of life, and most of all, the unconditional love he had for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories, traditions, laughter, and love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
