Patricia Ann Martinez

Patricia, “Patsy”, “Nannie”, Ann Martinez was a wonderful wife, amazing mother and an extraordinary grandmother. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 23, 2025, at the age of 67. Patricia was born on October 11, 1958, to Ernest and Theresa Urbano. She lived for her family. She truly understood what it meant to put family before herself.

Throughout her life, Patricia had an amazing ability to make friends wherever she was. She loved talking and interacting with different people. She would hear their stories and then let them know about her kids and beautiful grandkids. She loved watching movies, listening to her music, going to concerts, cooking, traveling with her family and going to the casino. Her greatest joy was when she was surrounded by her kids and more especially her grandkids who called her “Nannie”.

On November 17, 1978, she married the love of her life, Reginaldo Martinez Sr. This love would eventually flourish to three wonderful children: Reginaldo Jr. (Bernadette) Martinez of Willcox, Daniel (Lan) Martinez of Tucson and Angelica (Francisco III) Llanes of Tucson. More love was later brought into her life with the birth of her grandchildren; Angeliana, Reginaldo III, Sophia, Mariano, Sulema, Viviana, Joseph and Michael.

She loved her baby sister Linda (Danny) Barrios, big brother Frank (Rosa) Urbano and little brother Billy Urbano. Patsy had two childhood friends who were always by her side and were always family to her and her kids: Nina Althea (Henry) Bustamante and Brenda (Frank Jr.) Llanes. She touched the hearts and loved her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A funeral mass will be held at San Xavier Mission on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11:00 am in Tucson.
