Oscar Rogelio Bustamante Gavino

Aug 14, 1978 — Oct 23, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Oscar Rogelio Bustamante Gavino, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.

Oscar was the loving husband of Michelle Morales and a devoted father to Oscar Bustamante Jr., Leilany Bustamante, Sophia Morales, Arlette Morales, Cariz Armenta, Santiago Armenta, and Ángel Armenta. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to three grandchildren, who brought great joy to his life.

Oscar is survived by his beloved mother, Maria Gaviño, and his siblings, Jessica Bustamante, Édgar Bustamante, Ulysses Bustamante, and Marcos Bustamante.

Oscar carried on a proud family tradition as a barber, following in the footsteps of his late father, Rogelio Bustamante, and his grandfather. More than a profession, barbering was part of his family legacy. Through his work, Oscar became a familiar and cherished presence in the lives of many. His chair was not simply a place for a haircut, but a place for conversation, laughter, friendship, and connection.

Oscar will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the relationships he built throughout his life, and the legacy he continued through generations of the Bustamante family. His presence will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, siblings, extended family, friends, clients, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though his passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, Oscar’s memory will live on through his family, the lives he touched, and the family tradition he so proudly represented.

May he rest in peace, reunited with his father Rogelio and the loved ones who went before him.
