Omar Del Ra Soto, born on July 31, 1978, in Tucson, Arizona, passed away on March 9, 2026, in his beloved hometown. A proud graduate of Pueblo High School, Omar was known for his lively spirit and infectious personality. He truly made an impression wherever he went, renowned for his humor, as he was a natural jokester and the life of the party. His signature look often included a black shirt, a staple in his wardrobe, symbolizing both his unique style and the mark he left on everyone he met.
Omar had a deep love for music, which enriched his life and the lives of those around him. He found joy in cooking for his children, sharing meals that brought the family closer together. His passion for dressing up and shopping for clothes and shoes was complemented by his love for singing karaoke, where he amazed many with his uncanny ability to mirror the voice of the artist Valentine Elizalde. Friends and family often marveled at how closely he could replicate the artist's sound, reinforcing his reputation as a performer in his own right.
Above all, Omar's proudest accomplishment was being a devoted father. His dedication to his children was unwavering; he was always available for them, no matter the time of day. His nurturing and caring nature made him a reliable presence in their lives, and he was someone that friends and family could always count on. Remarkably, Omar enjoyed life without the need for alcohol or cigarettes, demonstrating that one could have a great time while embracing a healthy lifestyle.
He is survived by his mother, Aida Soto; his children, Omar Ismael Soto, Kiara Isamar Flores, Aida Soto, and Nazareno Soto; his sisters, Monica Sofia Rodriguez, Maciela Macias, and Lilian Acosta; his granddaughter, Kailanni Flores; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished him dearly.
Omar was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Soto. His legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of those who had the pleasure of knowing him, leaving a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.
