Norma Ehni

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Norma Soto Ehni.

Born in Nogales, Arizona, on January 6, 1945, to Ramon and Maria Soto, she was one of five children. She was preceded in death by her brothers Rodolfo, Daniel, and Mike; her sister, Guadalupe Soto; and her husband, Gerald Daniel Ehni. Norma graduated from Nogales High School in 1964.

She met her husband, Gerald, in Nogales, and together they had two children: Mary Ann Ehni Bejarano and Patrick Ehni.

Norma found joy in spending time with her family and friends, and she adored her dog, Sofie. She worked for several years as the radio station manager for KAYN 98.3 in Nogales, Arizona, and later served as a tax preparer for AARP, helping community members with care and dedication.

She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and godmother whose greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved.

Norma is survived by her children: Mary Ann Ehni Bejarano and her husband, James Bejarano, and her son, Patrick Ehni; her grandchildren, Ryan and John Bejarano; and many nephews, nieces, great‑nephews, and great‑nieces.

Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to live in our hearts.
