Nancy A. Morales

Nancy A Morales, 69, of Tucson has passed away. Nancy Morales passed away on August 10, 2021. She was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 28, 1952. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Juanita Alva; sisters Rebekah Trujillo and Carol Peru; ex-husband Pedro Morales; and son-in-law Tony Carranza. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Dustin) Crowl, Jessica (Tony) Carranza, and Monica (Hector) Paz. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Jasmine Vidal (Augie Lopez), Abigail Carranza, Bethany Crowl, Nicholas Carranza, Alex Paz, Elizabeth Paz, and Victoria Paz. She is survived by her constant companion, her dog Bella. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Roybal, and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nancy grew up in Clifton, AZ. She would often talk fondly about her childhood in Clifton. Nancy was very lucky to have grown up with many cousins whom she counted as friends. In 1984, Nancy and her family moved to Tucson. Her family was fortunate to have owned a home in the South Park neighborhood in Tucson. It is here that she really felt a sense of community, with neighbors who became life-long friends, and acting as one of three "neighborhood moms" to many children. Nancy worked at Holladay Elementary School in South Tucson for 20 years. She loved working with students, especially during her time working in Holladay's art class. More than anything, Nancy loved being a Nana. She helped care for all of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She was especially proud to display their artwork in her home.
