Miguel Angel Tiznado Valencia, a treasured landscaper and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on March 22, 1955, Miguel’s life was a testament to dedication, kindness, and a profound love for nature and his loved ones.
Miguel’s career as a landscaper distinguished him as an expert in desert plants and their seasonal rhythms. Known throughout his community for cultivating the best plants in the neighborhood, he took great pride in his craft. His passion extended beyond the greenery, as he was particularly skilled in brick design, creating beautiful and lasting outdoor spaces that reflected both creativity and a deep respect for the natural environment.
A man of warmth and communication, Miguel was known for his genuine connection with those around him. His mornings were often marked by the cherished ritual of sharing coffee with his siblings every Sunday, a time of closeness and conversation that underscored his commitment to family ties. He also honored the memory of departed loved ones with visits to their graves, ensuring they were respectfully maintained and never forgotten—a reflection of his thoughtful and caring nature.
Miguel's love for horses and the serene atmosphere of the corral were also notable facets of his character, offering him peace and joy throughout his life. His surviving siblings—brothers Humberto Tiznado, George Tiznado, and Leo Tiznado, and sisters Angelita Chaira, Jesus M. Sierra, Susana Tiznado, and Gina Hogoin—carry forward the strong familial bonds he so deeply nurtured.
