Matthew "Matt" Anthony Favela

Matthew "Matt" Favela, 21, passed away on November 8, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona.  Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Marco and Dora Favela.  He is survived by his mother: Jennifer Dixon; Father: Marco Favela Jr.; Brother: Adam Favela; Aunts and Uncles:  Francisco Maldonado, Alma and Eduardo Aguirre; Shanley and Brian Ten Eyck, Erica and Mike Gelinas, and Marc Correll. Grandparents: Michelle Bailey and Kay Correll, Alan and Dawn Dixon. Cousins: EJ, Melissa, Nathan, Frankie, Reilly, Keefe & Finn.  Matt really loved music and was very artistic.  A brave soul that faced his fears to overcome them. He shared a very close bond with his only brother, Adam.  In his younger years, he played football and ran track as well as participating in shot-put.  His dogs were close to his heart and he always made everyone laugh with his goofy faces.  A very creative individual who enjoyed making things out of green ties and duct tape.  He will live on in heart forever.
