Mary "Hotmary" O. Trinidad, known for her role as a caregiver many years, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on November 29, 1953, in San Diego, California. Mary attended Sunnyside High School and went on to touch the lives of many as a dedicated and loving caregiver.
Described as a jokester with a high-spirited and joyful personality, Mary was a people person who effortlessly made friends wherever she went. Her loving and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her. She was recognized for her strength and described as a firecracker - full of energy and passion for life.
Outside of her career, Mary found joy in playing bingo and had a special love for cars, especially her hot pink Durango. Her artistic talents shone through in the many beautiful arts and crafts she created over the years.
Mary's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children and grandchildren. She poured her love and care into her family, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
Mary O. Trinidad is preceded in death by her parents, Edwardo and Ernestina Olivas; her son, Jose Trinidad; granddaughter, Cassandra Trinidad; and brother, Armando Olivas. She is survived by an extensive network of family and friends who will forever hold her memory dear.
She is survived by her children: Maryhelen Trinidad (Henry), Bernadette Trinidad (Carlos), Erica Trinidad (Sabrina), Juan Lopez (Lisa), and Monica Lopez (Paul); grandchildren: Robert, Deziree, Destiny, Ahryia, Angelina, Breanna, Adriana, Serena, Alicianna, Marisela, Emmanuel, Marivel, Alexia, Marissa, Liliana, Pablo Juanito Francisco Antonio Miguel Maria; great-grandchildren: Gabriela Emma Carla Giovanni Adan Miguel Armando Elianna Alana Gilbert Emilio; brothers: Eddie Olivas Ruben Olivas Albert Olivas Tony Olivas Martin Olivas Ernesto Olivas; sisters: Guadalupe Hurtado Margaret Olivas Diane Olivas; her fiancé, Arturo Rodriguez; along with numerous nieces, nephews; friends.
Mary didn't leave without a fight! Her light will continue to shine through the memories she created with those she loved. May she rest in peace knowing she touched the hearts of so many during her time here on earth.
