Martha Jo Shonk

Martha Jo Shonk, 85, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Melvin Tiffany Shonk; sons, Michael Tiffany Shonk (Connie), Walter Donald Shonk (Esther), Richard David Shonk, and Kevin Scott Shonk (Margaret); along with 22 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John W Hash, Annie E Cole, John S. Alley, and Dacie E. Coleman; parents, Walter Byron Hash and Rosa Etta Alley; sisters, Marie Adams (James), Doris Embry (Red), Mary Wetzel (Oscar), and Barbara Brown (Johnny); and son, James Robert Shonk (Jackie).

Mom loved everybody, she would do anything for anybody no matter how much she has to give up for them. She was the eternal jokester, always being funny. In her last days, mom would sit with her eyes closed and speak to her sisters, mother, and father. Mom loved all of her family so very much.
