Maria Dolores Zazueta

Maria Dolores Zazueta, born on June 21, 1962, in Mexico, passed away on September 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and vibrant memories. Known for her outgoing personality, Maria embodied the spirit of a sour patch kid, welcoming everyone into her life as if they were family. Her honesty and generosity were unmatched; she had a unique way of supporting those around her, always stating what needed to be heard rather than merely what was wanted.

Maria was not only a hard worker but also a passionate fan, cheering for her beloved Chivas and the Dallas Cowboys, while also being an avid supporter of Mexican soccer. In her free time, she found joy in making jewelry and clothes, which reflected her creative flair. She cherished the simple pleasures of life such as enjoying meals from Panda Express, watching her favorite movies, and spending precious moments watching her grandsons play soccer.

Family was the cornerstone of Maria's life. She is survived by her loving sons, Juan Carlos Zazueta, Gustavo Zazueta, and Rodolfo Zazueta, as well as her daughters, Magda Zazueta, Rosario Robles, and Irene Barreras. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, including Infinity, along with her four great-grandchildren. Maria is also remembered by her thirteen sisters, who shared in her laughter and love throughout her life.

The world has lost a remarkable woman, but her spirit will endure in the hearts of her family and friends. A visitation will be held on October 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Rosary from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, Arizona. Maria’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
