Maria had a long and successful career at Motorola, where she dedicated many years of service. Her commitment and hard work set an example for her colleagues. She was known for her strong work ethic and reliability.

She enjoyed spending time at the casino, where she indulged in some friendly gambling. Maria loved immersing herself in the drama of her favorite novellas. Food held a special place in her heart, and she always savored every meal. Additionally, Maria took solace in listening to Vicente Fernandez's music, finding comfort in his soulful melodies.

Maria was characterized by her unwavering faith and devotion to Catholicism. Religion played an integral role in her life, and she held firm to her beliefs. Her dedication was evident through her consistent attendance at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Tucson.

Described as very sweet, generous, loving, and caring by those who knew her best, Maria left an indelible mark on the lives of those around her. She possessed a resolute determination that allowed her to overcome any obstacles that came her way – truly a tough cookie who wouldn't back down. Her strict nature exhibited the importance she placed on discipline and accountability.

Maria's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her two sons, Martin and Augustin Estrada. They brought immense joy to her life and were a constant source of pride for her. In addition to being a loving mother, Maria embraced the role of grandmother with open arms. Her grandchildren – Adrian Estrada, Erik Estrada, Marissa Estrada, Selena Estrada, Aiden Estrada, and Antonio Estrada – adored her and cherished the memories they created together.

Maria's love extended beyond her immediate family. She served as a guiding presence to many individuals as a godmother. Her nurturing nature and wisdom helped shape the lives of those fortunate enough to have her as their godmother.

In the company of her dear husband, Rudy Estrada, Maria found companionship, support, and love throughout their years together. Their bond weathered the test of time and remained unbreakable.

Maria also leaves behind a legacy of love with nine great-grandchildren. These little ones will always cherish the memories and love their great-grandmother bestowed upon them. She was a pillar of strength and an endless source of love in their lives.

In addition to her immediate and extended family, Maria adored her furry companion, Pepper. Pepper brought immense happiness into Maria's life and was a constant source of comfort and joy.

To honor Maria's life, visitation will be held on December 5, 2023, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson. A prayer service will follow from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the same location. A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Tucson at 11:00 am. Following the Mass, Maria will be laid to rest at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson during a burial ceremony at 12:30 pm.

Maria J. Estrada touched countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. She now rests in eternal peace while leaving behind cherished memories that will forever hold her spirit close.
