Margarito Contreras Hernandez, a devoted partner, father, grandfather and friend, has bid farewell to this world. He was a man of simple pleasures and hard work, whose dedication to his family left an indelible mark on those around him. Educated in Mexico, Margarito's passion for agriculture led him to a fulfilling career as a cow milker, where his commitment and work ethic shone brightly. Known for his stubborn nature yet deep care and love for those closest to him, Margarito touched the lives of many with his authentic personality. He found joy in the little things, often enjoying a few drinks while listening to music, finding solace in moments of tranquility. Margarito's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and his beloved truck. His legacy lives on through his surviving family and friends including his life partner, Rosalinda Ojeda; children Alma Rosa Ojeda, Manuela Ojeda, Flor Ayala, Margarito Hernandez Jr., and Robert Ojeda-Arias; step-son Raymond Mendibles; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish their memories with him.

A viewing service to honor Margarito Contreras Hernandez will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, Arizona on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Though he has left this world behind, his spirit will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished and loved by many.
