Margarita Morales, born on February 22, 1938, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026. She was a humble woman who cherished her family deeply, dedicating much of her life to nurturing those around her. Margarita’s generous spirit and love for making food during the holidays created many treasured memories for her loved ones and the wider community.

Throughout her life, Margarita was known not only for her quiet strength but also for the warmth she extended to her family and friends. Her devotion as a matriarch was evident in the close bonds she maintained with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and all who had the honor to know her.

Margarita is lovingly remembered by her sons, Jose Raul Morales and Antelmo Rodrigo Morales; her daughters, Juanita Lydia Dominguez, Leticia Haros, and Maria Magdalena Morales. She also leaves behind a legacy through her 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, each carrying forward her love and values. She was preceded in life by none mentioned here, but she is survived by her brothers, Jesus Rodriguez and Abelardo Rodriguez, and her sister, Josefina Chavez.

Margarita was preceded in death by her husband, Rodrigo Morales, sisters, Socorro Quiroz and , brothers, Francisco Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez. 

A visitation will be held on March 19, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, Arizona 85713. Families and friends are invited to pay their respects during this time. The Rosary will take place at the same location on that evening from 7:00 PM until 7:30 PM.

Margarita’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at Southlawn Cemetery, situated at 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. The burial service will begin at 12:45 PM.

Margarita Morales’s departure marks the end of a remarkable life full of devotion, kindness, and quiet dignity. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her, as a beacon of humility and boundless love for family. She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered with deep respect and affection.
