Manuela Rafaela Hernandez Ojeda, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on November 5, 2024, in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 37. Born on October 25, 1987 in Tucson, she was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her.
Manuela was known for her compassionate nature and her ability to radiate strength in every situation. Her vibrant personality was defined by her infectious laughter and light-hearted spirit, making her a cherished companion. She was a jokester whose warm sense of humor brought joy to her family and friends. Manuela set her ways, embodying a beautiful soul and a dedication to her loved ones that left a mark on everyone who crossed her path.
A true lover of life, Manuela had varied interests that showcased her dynamic character. She delighted in cooking and baking, often bringing family and friends together with her culinary creations. A passionate music lover, she found joy in sounds that resonated with her spirit. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed the excitement of wrestling, sharing these passions with those she loved. Above all, she thrived in the company of her family, finding her proudest accomplishments in the bonds she nurtured with them.
Manuela is survived by her devoted mother, Rosalinda Ojeda; her siblings, Raymond Mendibles (Indelisa), Almarosa Ojeda, Robert Ojeda-Arias (Oscar), and Flor Ayala (Gustavo); her loving maternal grandmother, Rafaela Mills; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father, Margarito C. Hernandez, whose memory remains a cherished part of her family’s history.
A visitation to celebrate Manuela's life will be held on November 15, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a Rosary at 1:00 PM Martinez Funeral Chapels located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713.
Manuela's legacy is one of love, laughter, and compassion, leaving an indelible imprint on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered with affection, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who carry her memory forward.
