Manuel Enriquez, Jr.

April 3, 1955 — May 7, 2025

Tucson, AZ

Manuel "Manny" Enriquez Jr. was born in Indio, California on April 3, 1955, then moved to Tucson Arizona, where he spent most of his years. He dedicated his life to coaching football for pop warner teams including the Rams, Raiders, Redskins, and 49ers. He also played football for Tucson High school, where he graduated in 1974. His favorite NFL teams was the San Francisco Forty Niners and he also loved the U of A.

He loved his animals and spoiled them rotten which were his 3 chihuahuas Pee-wee, Chappie and Scarlett, his adopted baby girl. He also had his two cats, Chino and Ti-Ti.  As well as all his feral cats. They will all surely miss his presence and love.

He is survived by his children; Jennell Enriquez (daughter), Bobby Carranza (son in-law), Valentino Enriquez (Son) and Sergio Enriquez (Son); granddaughters, Arissa Castillo (Ishi) and Renae Ermel (Nae Nae) which were also his care takers the last few years. Jaydeane Castillo (Deanie) granddaughter, Crissy Elias, granddaughter and Steven Alvarez (Panson). Also his great-great grandchildren and his brother, Greg Enriquez (Gogie). Preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Enriquez Sr. and Rebecca Enriquez-Valdez; girlfriend, Sylvia Mendez, nephew, Gabriel Enriquez, grandson, Sergio Enriquez and his beloved dog, Chapo. They all will undoubtedly welcome him with open arms. He was at peace to see them all and of course his Lord and Savior.

We will miss his unapologetic love for his president Trump. His love for football, hunting, pets and most of all his family. Pops, Tata, Junie and Coach Manny, we love you until we meet again.

“For God so loved the world, he gave us his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." Amen

A celebration of his life will be planned by his family at a later date.
