Segundo hijo del matrimonio de Efrain Chaira y Guadalupe Figueroa, sus hermanos Antonia Ortiz, Francisca Ortiz, Olivia Chaira y Efrain Chaira jr. Su esposa Maria Eugenia Gortari, hijas Maribel Ortiz y Reyna Chaira Nieto Mateo carino.
Manuel fue un gran hombre atento, amable, servicial, gran ser humano querido por toda su familia primos y sobrinos dios nos dio la gran fortuna de coincidir con el en esta vida nos a dejado grandes recuerdos y aunque no este fisicamente con nosotros siempre lo llevaremos en nuestros corazones....
