Lupita C. Campos, a beacon of love and devotion, passed away on May 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy etched deeply in the hearts of those who knew her. Born on April 22, 1946, Lupita’s life was a vivid tapestry of warmth and unwavering dedication to her family, reflecting the enduring spirit of a good mother and a spectacular grandmother.
Lupita’s greatest joy was found in the simple, profound moments spent with her beloved family. Her love was a sanctuary where laughter flourished and memories were woven—a loving embrace that surrounded her children and grandchildren always with tenderness. She was a steadfast presence, a source of comfort and guidance, illuminating the lives of her daughter Karla Manson, son-in-law JB Manson, grandchildren Sabrina, Max, and Mylie, as well as her son Carlos E. Campos and his wife Christina P. Campos.
Her familial bonds extended beyond her children, encompassing the steadfast support of her brother Abelardo “Lalo” Cubillas and her sister Lourdes “Lulu” Velasco, each a part of the circle that nurtured her strength and kindness.
The community of Nogales, Arizona, now holds the space for remembrance and farewell. On May 20, 2026, those who cherished Lupita will gather at Martinez Funeral Chapels at 891 W Mariposa Rd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to pay their respects during the visitation. Following this quiet time for reflection, the sacred rituals of Rosary at 1:30 p.m. and Mass at 2:00 p.m. will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 N Rodriguez St., inviting all to join in prayer and celebration of Lupita’s faith and enduring spirit.
Her journey will be tenderly concluded with an interment at the City of Nogales Cemetery, 253 W Kino St., commencing at 3:30 p.m., a solemn yet hopeful farewell to a cherished soul whose memory will bloom eternally in the hearts she touched.
