Lily H. Godoy

Lily H. Godoy, 85, passed away on November 24, 2021.  She is survived by her husband, Augustine Godoy; sons, Robert Plata, Augie Godoy and Steven Godoy; daughters, Beatrice Godoy and Christina Sagasta; brothers, Henry Hernandez, Bill Hernandez, Joe Hernandez and Robert Hernandez, sister, Lupe Frias; 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Our Mom, Nana, the day you left us was a very difficult day for all of us, but the comfort we have is knowing that you will be with Jesus! We have so many wonderful memories of you with all of us. From raising your own kids to raising up some grandkids. But you always were cooking, washing and always ironing for everyone, your chores were always endless, but you always managed to take care of your family even if you had to yell at times for us to listen to you. We are so grateful that God allowed us to have you for the time we had with you, such wonderful special memories, we shall always keep close to our hearts. We also thank you for the love you've shown to us. We knew who your favorites were you boys; Augie, Steve, Dannyboy, Robb and Augie but that was ok. It truly broke our hearts to lose you, but God also knew you were suffering and in pain, he knew you would never get well on earth so he decided to take you home to rest and set you free. So with heavy hearts and tears, that we lay you down to rest and say our last good byes. We love you "MOM" and we will miss you so much. With love from us to you.
