In Loving Memory of Lillie “Gloria” Piñon
With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we announce the passing of Lillie Gloria Piñon, who entered into eternal rest on July 9, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born on May 16, 1944 in Denver, Colorado, Gloria lived a life defined by faith, grace, compassion, and unconditional love. She was the heart of our family—a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend whose kindness touched countless lives.
A true lady of class, dignity, and quiet strength, she carried herself with grace in every aspect of her life. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and compassionate heart made everyone she met feel welcomed, valued, and loved. She believed that kindness was one of life's greatest gifts, and she gave it freely to everyone around her.
She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Daniel Piñon, and together they built a family rooted in love, resilience, and compassion. As the proud mother of five children, she devoted her life to nurturing, encouraging, and loving her family without reservation. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and extended family.
Her love, however, extended far beyond her own family. Throughout her life, she opened her heart and home to countless children who were not her own, caring for them as if they were. Whether they needed guidance, comfort, a warm meal, or simply someone to believe in them, she was always there. She had an extraordinary gift for making every child feel safe, accepted, and deeply loved. To so many, she became a second mother, leaving a lasting impact that will never be forgotten.
She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, caring nature, generous spirit, and unconditional love. She had an incredible ability to make others feel important, offering compassion without judgment and giving of herself without expecting anything in return. Her life was a beautiful example of selflessness, humility, and grace.
Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life, providing her strength through every season and peace during her final days. Even as her earthly journey came to an end, she was surrounded by the love of her family—a testament to the life of love she had given so freely.
She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, faith, and unconditional love that will continue to live on through her devoted husband, Daniel; her five loving children, Daniel, Eric, Tammy, Sanitago and Suzanna; her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and the countless lives she touched as a mother, mentor, caregiver, and friend.
Our family extends our heartfelt gratitude to our family and friends, and everyone who offered prayers, love, and support throughout her final journey.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord and reunited with those who went before her. Her grace, kindness, wisdom, and unconditional love will remain with us always.
