Leovardo Garcia Rodarte, esposo devoto, padre amoroso y abuelo adorado, falleció el 7 de julio de 2025 a la edad de 77 años en Tucson, Arizona. Nacido el 30 de junio de 1948 en Excame, Tepechitlán, Zacatecas, Leovardo dedicó su vida al trabajo duro y a su familia.
Fue un obrero muy hábil que dedicó muchos años a la industria naranjera, así como a los campos de uva y cebolla. Su dedicación a su trabajo solo era comparable a su profundo amor por su familia y amigos. Leovardo era conocido por su espíritu bromista y un sentido del humor que iluminaba cualquier ambiente. Poseía un carácter amoroso y desinteresado, siempre anteponiendo a los demás a sí mismo.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa durante 50 años, María Rodarte; sus hijos Carlos Rodarte, Ruby Rodarte, Leo Rodarte y Nancy Rodarte; y sus queridos nietos Renay, Pricilla, Cynthia, Sayla, Gabriel, Jesús, Marco, Julián, Mya y Ayeshia. Además, le sobreviven sus bisnietos Giana, Xenia, Giovanni y Armani; su hermana Juanita Rodarte, hermano, Elias Rodarte; así como numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas y amigos que lo recordarán con cariño.
Encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos, desde pasear en coche hasta ver carreras de caballos, y disfrutaba con ilusión de sus paseos diarios. Leovardo se enorgullecía mucho de su familia, y sus mayores logros fueron, sin duda, sus hijos y nietos, cuyas vidas conmovió con amor y alegría.
El velatorio familiar se llevará a cabo el 14 de julio de 2025, de 9:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m., con un servicio de oración de 10:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m. en la Funeraria Martinez de Tucson, ubicada en 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. Posteriormente, el entierro se realizará en el Cementerio Holy Hope, 3555 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ 85705.

Leovardo Garcia Rodarte, a devoted husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather, passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 77 in Tucson, Arizona. Born on June 30, 1948, in Excame, Tepechitlan, Zacatecas, Leovardo dedicated his life to hard work and family.
He was a very skilled laborer who spent many years working in the orange tree industry, as well as in the fields of grapes and onions. His commitment to his work was matched only by his profound love for his family and friends. Leovardo was well-known for his jokester spirit and a sense of humor that could lighten any room. He had a loving and selfless nature, always putting others before himself.
Leovardo is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Maria Rodarte; his children Carlos Rodarte, Ruby Rodarte, Leo Rodarte, and Nancy Rodarte; and his cherished grandchildren Renay, Pricilla, Cynthia, Sayla, Gabriel, Jesus, Marco, Julian, Mya, and Ayeshia. Additionally, he is survived by his great-grandchildren Giana, Xenia, Giovanni, and Armani; his sister Juanita Rodarte; his brother, Elias Rodarte; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him fondly.
He found joy in simple pleasures, from driving around in his car to watching horse races, and he looked forward to his daily walks, his heart was complete while reading his bible and praising God. Leovardo took great pride in his family, and his proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren, whose lives he touched with love and laughter while dedicating his life to Christ and being baptized at an early age.
Visitation with family will be held on July 14, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a Prayer Service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. A burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ 85705.
