Kristina Marie Naff

It is with great sadness that the family of Kristina Marie Naff announce her passing on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at the age of 34, in Los Angeles, California.

Kristi was born on April 6, 1987. She was a lifelong artist who practiced across many disciplines, including music, illustration, painting, and sculpture. She attended Rio Rico High School, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Arizona, and completed her post-graduate education at Loyola Marymount University with a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy.

Kristi was a member of the Pride of Arizona Marching Band and a brother of the Kappa Kappa Psi fraternity. Her dissertation, “An Exploration of Art Therapy as a Treatment for Cumulative Trauma,” was published in the Journal of the American Art Therapy Association. She was a practicing counselor for adolescents and adults. Through her career and her art she touched many lives, and she leaves the world a better place for all those who knew her.

Kristi is survived by her parents Marie Elizabeth Stoller and Clay Alberto Naff of Rio Rico, Arizona; her sister Vanessa Nicole Naff of Seattle, Washington; her sister Elizabeth Ashley Naff of Burlingame, California; and her sister Kaitlyn Eve Naff of Tucson, Arizona. She is also survived by her loving fiancé Edward Saul Olson of Los Angeles, California; her paternal grandfather Enrique B. Naff and her maternal grandmother Maria del Socorro Stoller, both of Nogales, Arizona; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Edward Fredrick Stoller; and paternal grandmother, Yolanda Naff.

A rosary will take place on Wednesday, May 5 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Nogales, Arizona, with a mass to follow at 11:30 AM.
