It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ramon Puig on November 5, 2023, in Nogales, Arizona. Ramon was an exceptional hard worker for more than 50 years and leaves behind a legacy of dedication and perseverance. Ramon was born on January 8, 1952, in Guaymas, Sonora Mexico. From a young age, he displayed a strong work ethic and a zest for life. He carried this passion throughout his career and touched the lives of many through his unwavering commitment to his work.
One of Ramon's greatest joys in life was spending time with his family. He cherished every precious moment shared with his children and grandchildren. Ramon had a special bond with his kids and grandkids; they were the light of his life. He loved nothing more than creating beautiful memories filled with love and laughter.
In addition to being a doting father and grandfather, Ramon was also an amazing husband to his beloved wife, Nelly Puig. They shared a deep love and understanding that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Ramon found immense joy in pleasing his wife in every possible way; their love was truly one for the ages.
Ramon will be remembered as a super happy and positive person who brought warmth and laughter into every room he entered. His infectious sense of humor was unmatched, and he had a knack for putting smiles on the faces of others. Whether through witty jokes or playful banter, Ramon had a way of lighting up the darkest of days.
Born with a talent for cooking shrimp, Ramon delighted in preparing delicious meals for his loved ones. The tantalizing aromas that filled the air whenever Ramon took charge of the kitchen will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have tasted his creations.
An individual who believed in living life to the fullest, Ramon pursued his hobbies and interests with unwavering enthusiasm. Above all, he treasured every moment spent with his adoring wife. Their love was an anchor in his life, a source of unwavering support and happiness.
Ramon will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Ramon Puig, his brother, Juan Carlos Puig, as well as his Grandson Juan Carlitos.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Nelly Puig; their children: Martin Puig, Juan Carlos Puig, Franky Puig, and Erika Martinez; his sisters: Martha Tavares, Patricia Guevarra, and Laura Aumick; and a multitude of grandchildren: Victoria, Carlitos, Achilles, Natalia, Martinsito, Isaias, Kamilla, Genesis, Montserat, and Ramon Remi.
We invite you to join us for the services honoring Ramon's life. The visitation will take place on November 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales located at 891 W Mariposa Rd in Nogales, Arizona. A Rosary will follow from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
On November 9th at 2:00 PM at San Felipe de Jesus Parish on 1901 N Jose Gallego Dr in Nogales,
Arizona,a Mass will be held to celebrate Ramon's life.
Ramon Puig touched our lives in profound ways and leaves behind a lasting impact on our hearts. Though he may no longer be with us in the physical sense, his spirit will forever be remembered and cherished. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
