On the evening of Friday, September 11, 2026, Joshua Rees, aged 49, finished his work on this earth and went to be with the Lord. He was born to Dan and Dixie Rees on the 2nd of June 1977 in Madison, Wisconsin. Josh was a dedicated lawyer and judge that work for and with Native American tribes. He had several degrees, an associate’s degree in business from BYU-Idaho, a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in teaching from UW Green Bay, and a law degree from LSU. He loved sports, especially wrestling and any sport one of his children were playing. Halloween was his favorite holiday and he loved dressing up! His testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was his most cherished possession. Josh is preceded in death by his mother, Dixie and his son, Drake. He is survived by his wife, Courtney; their five children, Matthew, Sariah, Cody, Anthony, and Henry; daughter-in-law, Lalli; grandson, Daniel; father and stepmother, Dan and Donna Rees; sister, Lindsay; brother, Jonah.

Services will be held at 10:30am Saturday, September 26, 2026; at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 105 N Norton St. Tucson, AZ.
