Josephine Pedersoli Lopez, a lifelong Tucsonan, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 83 years old.

Josephine shared a beautiful and devoted 62-year marriage with her beloved husband, Guillermo R. Lopez. Their marriage was a true partnership built on faith, commitment, mutual respect, and unconditional love. Together they created a strong, close-knit family rooted in Catholic values, and their bond served as a lasting example of love, patience, and dedication to all who knew them.

Before dedicating herself fully to raising her family, Josephine became a licensed beautician, a reflection of her creativity and care for others. Her greatest joy, however, was her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch. She was deeply family-focused and found happiness in caring for her loved ones, opening her home and heart to all.

Josephine enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, and spending time watching her favorite sports. She cherished family gatherings, holidays, and everyday moments spent together, always placing her loved ones first.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Guillermo R. Lopez; her children Lisa Sanchez (Marty Lugo), Billy Lopez, Tommy Lopez (Sarah), and Annapatricia Lopez; and her siblings Eddie Pedersoli (Rebecca) and Victor Pedersoli (Janeth). She was a proud grandmother to Robbie, Eric, Mario, Tommy Jr., Scarlett, Clarissa, Mireya, Chachi, Lala, Sophie, and Samantha, and a cherished great-grandmother to Czarina, Arlo, Alessandra, Camilo, Nayeli and Ryden.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Vicente Pedersoli and Alicia D. Pedersoli; her brothers Vincent Pedersoli (Terry) and Joey Pedersoli.

Josephine will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her deep devotion to her husband and family, and the love she gave so freely throughout her life.
