Jose "Tony" Antonio Gracia, born December 19, 1962, in Nogales, Arizona, passed away on September 9, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Tony will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, a selfless man with a heart of gold, and someone whose answer was never no when help was needed. He was always ready to lend a hand to others, and that spirit of generosity shaped the way he moved through life. Those who knew him understood that his greatest pride was in serving others, and he carried that purpose with quiet strength and sincerity.

A graduate of Nogales High School in Nogales, Arizona, Tony continued his education at ITI Trade School in Phoenix, Arizona. He built a long career as a technician, beginning with the company Neilsen, then continued his career with Qwest, and most recently with Century Link. Through his work, he met many people while servicing their homes, and he quickly earned their trust. What began as a service call often became something more, as Tony helped people not only with his work, but on a personal level as well. His kindness and willingness to care for others left a lasting impression on many lives.

Outside of work, Tony enjoyed cooking, another expression of the care he so naturally gave to others. Whether through a meal, a helping hand, or simple presence, he showed love in ways that were heartfelt and genuine.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Henrietta F. Gracia, who shared in the devotion and love that defined his life. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Clarrissa Ortiz; his brothers, Mike Gracia, Mario Gracia, Carlos Gracia, and Alex Gracia; and his sister, Connie Bonillas. They carry forward the memory of a man whose generosity, warmth, and steadfast love touched his family deeply.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Consuelo Gracia; his brother, Manuel Gracia; and his sister, Maria Cervantes. Their memories remained a part of his life and story, and they now welcome him into eternal rest.

Visitation will be held on September 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, 891 W Mariposa Rd, Nogales, AZ 85621. A Mass will be celebrated on September 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 N Rodriguez St, Nogales, AZ 85621. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Nogales City Cemetery, W Western Ave, Nogales, AZ 85621.

Tony’s life was a reflection of love in action—through his work, his character, and his constant care for others. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
