Jose Antonio Rios-Altamirano

Altamirano, Jose 71 of Tucson unexpectedly passed away to be with the lord on Sunday February 16, 2020. Born January 6, 1949. Jose had a fulfilling career in construction/safety inspector. He is preceded in death by his parents; Maria Del Carmen Rios Altamirano, Jose Feliciano Meza Altamirano and by his loving sister Santos Mendoza. Jose is Survived by his loving wife of 50 years Pauline Altamirano, Children; Steven Altamirano, Mark Altamirano (Mary), Anthony Altamirano, 14 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Jose is survived by 6 brothers, 8 sisters; several nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and great- great nieces/nephews. Jose enjoyed spending time with family and his brothers, he was an avid outdoorsman who had a love and passion for riding horses and fishing. A loving Husband, Brother, Father and Grandfather. He will be forever remembered.

Services to be held Tuesday February 25, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Chapel 2580 S. South 6^{th Ave}

Visitation 8:30 am Rosary at 9:00 am 9:30 viewing 10:30 mass at St. Augustine Cathedral, Burial at Holy Hope Cemetery. In respect of his beloved wife there will be no reception or guests after funeral. In lieu of flowers & food please give monetary donations to the GoFundMe Account or Rosalva Alta.
