Jose Luis Lucero, 69, earned his wings on September 12, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his wife: Alicia P. Lucero; Sons: Jose Luis Lucero, Daniel Lucero, Leonel Lucero, Luis Chavez, Jesus Hilario Cuadras, Carlos Alberto; Daughters: Martha Alicia, Sophia Garcia, Priscilla Lucero, Leslie Lucero, Valeria Lucero, Laura Chavez; Brothers: Daniel Lucero and Jose Alfredo Lucero; Sisters: Manuela Lucero Puig and Alma Rosa Lucero Ugarte; Numerous family and friends. His Grandkids: David Jose (Davy), Daniel Carlos (Carlitos), Penelope Alice (Lopee), Ahtziri, Jordan, Romeo, Axel Lucero, Lilianna Martha, Ricardo Lucero, Mya Anissa, Julian (Julz).

He shared his accomplishments throughout his life with us through pictures, and stories. Jose was very passionate of his 1974 Ford F-250, and would drive it on weekends. He always made sure that his grandkids shared the same love for his truck, like he did.

He was a caring person, who gave tough love, and could make you smile at the same time. He always wanted the best for his family and kids. His infectious smile, and giant hugs will be missed greatly. His famous words to us before bed were,"You're the other half of mi corazon."

There is not a day that will go by, that we won't think of our dad. He was the heart of the family.

He is reunited with our brother Carlos Morillon in heaven. May they watch us from the heavens above.

He will be greatly missed by all those whose hearts he touched.

We love you, and miss you dad.
