John E. Thurston was a United States Army Veitnam Veteran, a Law Enforcement Officer who served his community for over 35 years, a pilot who loved to fly, as well as a loving, compassionate, respectful and caring partner for over 50 years. Leaving his wife, Linda; his 3 children; Susan, Anne and John; his 9 grandchildren; Johnnathon, Mickela, Phillip, Lya, Samantha, Micheal, Meleyah, Olivia and Andrew;1 great-granddaughter, Aneliah; 6 sisters, Eva, Victoria, Liz, Diane, Rosa and Guadalupe; as well as many more who loved, respected and appreciated him. We will miss him.
