John Arana Chavez

John Arana Chavez, 78, of Bisbee, Arizona, was called home on December 28, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Mary M. Chavez; daughter, Elaine M. Chavez; son, John Anthony Chavez;  grandchildren, Angela Paez, E. Michael Rodriguez, Felicia Ochoa and Alejandro L. Carrasco, many other grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Manuel Chavez; sisters, Irene Gonzalez and Otilia Moya. Preceded in death by his parents Leonardo and Gumesinda also reunited with his brothers.  John proudly served his county as a Marine. He was a great hunter and outdoors man, with a collection of his trophies and stories of his hunts. He had a huge sense of humor with a love to make everyone laugh. He will be missed and never forgotten.
