Jesus Alfonso Castro Duarte

October 16, 2000 — August 16, 2023

Tucson, AZ

Jesus Alfonso Castro Duarte, born on October 16, 2000, in Tucson, Arizona, passed away on August 16, 2023, also in Tucson. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who lived a life full of joy and love. Jesus was known for his incredible sense of humor and his ability to make everyone around him smile. He had a heart full of affection and gave the best hugs. Jesus will always be remembered for the warmth and love he brought into the lives of those lucky enough to know him.

Jesus attended Amphitheater High School and graduated in 2019. He excelled both academically and athletically during his time there. His passion for sports led him to be drafted by a semi-pro soccer team and receive a baseball scholarship to Flint, Michigan. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, these opportunities were cut short. Nevertheless, Jesus continued to play both sports recreationally throughout his life.

Aside from sports, Jesus had a deep love for animals. He was a cat and dog lover and found happiness in their companionship. His compassionate nature extended to people as well. Jesus was trustworthy to a fault and made every person he met feel valued and appreciated.

One of Jesus's proudest accomplishments was his independence at such a young age. He worked two jobs while attending school and showed determination in achieving his goals. His hard work paid off when he became a homeowner - an achievement that brought him great pride.

Jesus leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his brothers Francisco Roberto Castro Duarte (Jasmine Molinar) and Oscar Manuel Castro Duarte (Argelia Castro). He is also mourned by his father Nadir Roberto Castro Ramirez (Ramona Olivia Nunez), mother Belia Guadalupe Duarte Ballesteros, nieces Julianna Evolet Castro Valdez and Grace Suzette Castro Molinar and nephew Jesus Angel Castro Molinar. They find solace in knowing that Jesus touched the lives of many during his time on earth.

To honor Jesus's life, visitation will be held on August 28, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects during this time.

A funeral service will take place on August 29, 2023, starting at 11:30 AM, also at Martinez Funeral Chapels. The burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, beginning at 2:00 PM. It is a time for everyone who knew Jesus to come together and remember the joy he brought into their lives.

Jesus Alfonso Castro Duarte may no longer be with us physically, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.

Francisco Roberto Castro Duarte (Jasmine Molinar) y Oscar Manuel Castro Duarte (Argelia Castro). También lo

lloran su padre Nadir Roberto Castro Ramírez (Ramona Olivia Núñez), su madre Belia Guadalupe Duarte

Ballesteros, sus sobrinas Julianna Evolet Castro Valdez y Grace Suzette Castro Molinar y su sobrino Jesús Ángel

Castro Molinar.
