Jasinto Salazar, born June 10, 1957, passed away on July 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family. Beloved by all who knew him, Jasinto's presence was a source of warmth, strength, and quiet guidance throughout his life.
Jasinto is deeply mourned by his wife, Rosemary Gonzalez, whose steadfast partnership has been a true testament to their bond. Together, they built a life filled with mutual respect and unwavering support. Jasinto was a devoted father to Monica Ray, Bobby Moore, Jason Moore, and Don Ross. His children knew him as a pillar of wisdom and encouragement, continually inspiring them through his steadfast work ethic and compassionate heart.
As a cherished brother, Jasinto shared lifelong memories with Pete Salazar. He also enjoyed close relationships with his six sisters: Maria Garcia, Carlota Mendez, Carmen Serrano, Elvia Alaniz, Julia Benavidez, and Janie Duarte. Each sibling was meaningful in his story, sharing with him the joys and challenges that come with growing together as a family.
Jasinto’s legacy reaches forward through the generations, held in the grateful hearts of his grandchildren: Neva Ray, Dominic Moore, Shyanne Ross, Eva Shelton, Dawson Moore, Connie Moore, and Levi Ramsey. To his grandchildren, he was a source of boundless affection, always ready with a gentle word or a joyful laugh.
Jasinto joins in eternal rest his father, Jacinto Salazar, and his mother, Trinidad Salazar, as well as his siblings Jose Salazar, Joe Salazar, and Felis Salazar, who preceded him in death. While he will be missed beyond measure, his family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with those who went before him.
Friends and family are invited to honor Jasinto’s memory at a visitation on July 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The gathering will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, Arizona, located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. All who knew and loved Jasinto are welcome to join in remembrance and reflection.
