Isabel Valenzuela Vega, born October 8, 1951, passed away on October 24, 2026.

She will be remembered as a generous and loving woman who cherished her family above all else. Isabel loved to cook for the people she loved, and her kitchen was a place of warmth, welcome, and togetherness. Everyone loved her tacos, and whenever she made them, it became an event in itself—one of the many simple but lasting joys she gave to those around her. She loved the holidays, was often humming and singing little songs, and remained feisty until the end.

Isabel graduated from Tucson High School in 1970. She later worked for more than 20 years at Radiology Ltd., where she built a long and dedicated career before retiring.

Above all, Isabel’s life was centered on the people she loved. She is survived by her beloved husband, Arnold Vega; her children, Joe Vega and Vanessa Vega; her grandchildren, Anastasia Vega, Jacob Vega, and Jason Vega; and her sisters, Marcella, Cecelia, Angie, and Gloria. Each of them shared in the love, care, and spirit that Isabel gave so freely, and her memory will continue to live on in their hearts and in the family gatherings she made so special.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Valenzuela, and by her sister, Christina.

Isabel Valenzuela Vega will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her generosity, her spirited nature, her songs, her holiday joy, and the love she poured into her family.
