Henry "Hank" Valdez

Henry "Hank" Valdez, born on April 24, 1959, left this world on May 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and community that will be cherished by many. His unwavering dedication to his career was evident during his 15 years at Suntran, where he was a respected and integral member of the team.

Hank's interests brought joy not only to himself but to those around him. A passionate golfer, he found great pleasure on the green, enjoying the game with friends and family alike. His love for coaching Hollywood Senior Softball and playing golf highlighted his commitment to nurturing talent and fostering teamwork among young athletes. Hank was also known for his playful spirit, frequently indulging in scratcher tickets, a favorite pastime that brought him much excitement. Furthermore, his fondness for Diet Dr. Pepper, the Raiders, and visits to the casino were indicative of a man who embraced life to the fullest.

Hank is survived by his beloved family, who will hold his memory dear. He is survived by his son, Enrique Valdez, and his daughters, Amber Valdez, Ivette Saavedra, and Elizabeth Valdez. Hank was also a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Alejandro, Endo, and Ezah, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Valdez, and his brothers, Randy, Ray, Delbert, Tony, Lonnie, Blas, and Freddy, all of whom carry on his spirit in their hearts.

Hank leaves behind his Puppy Loca, 5 grand-pups, Nala, Chapo, Chiquita, Zona and Dayzie. Lots of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Mercedes Valdez, sisters, Mary Valdez and Susie Valdez, brothers, Peter, Louie, John, Daniel and Phillip Valdez, his 2 wife's, Francisca  Valdez and Martha Saavedra-Valdez.

As we remember Hank Valdez, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by dedication, passion, and a profound love for family and friends. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
