Gloria L. Ramos, querida madre, abuela, bisabuela, tatarabuela, hermana, hija y amiga, falleció pacíficamente el 21 de julio de 2025 en Tucson, Arizona, a la edad de 90 años. Nacida el 17 de febrero de 1935 en Nogales, Sonora, México, Gloria era una persona vibrante, cuyo carácter alegre y amigable alegraba a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

A lo largo de su vida, Gloria creó innumerables recuerdos entrañables, especialmente durante la temporada navideña. Navidad y Año Nuevo eran momentos especiales en los que reunía a su familia a su alrededor, cocinando con maestría sus famosos tamales. Una tradición que transmitió con cariño de sus abuelos y padres a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Estas reuniones estaban llenas de risas, canciones y una calidez que solo Gloria podía brindar, consolidando su papel como el corazón de la familia.

La vida de Gloria estuvo marcada por su espíritu humanitario. Siempre estaba dispuesta a ayudar, especialmente a las madres con niños pequeños que sufrían de indigestión y náuseas. Su bondad era inagotable y su altruismo la hizo muy querida por muchos, dejando una huella imborrable en quienes tuvieron la fortuna de recibir sus cuidados.

Además de su rol como cuidadora familiar, Gloria disfrutaba coleccionando miniaturas y álbumes de fotos familiares, que le servían como ventana a los hermosos momentos que compartía. Disfrutaba visitando casinos, donde podía dar rienda suelta a su lado juguetón, y le encantaba cantar y escuchar la música de los 70, una banda sonora que reflejaba el espíritu vibrante que la definía.

A Gloria le sobreviven sus devotos hijos: Jesús M. Flores Luevano, Pío Alberto Daminano Luevano, José A. Flores, Juan G. Flores y Jairo I. Flores, junto con su querida hija, Sandra Guadalupe Flores Luevano. También le sobreviven sus hermanos, Francisco Luevano Urquides y Roberto Luevano Urquides, quienes, junto con su familia, continuarán su legado de amor y compasión.

Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo, Jesús Ramos Salas, su hijo, José Humberto Flores Luevano, y sus queridos padres, Francisco Luevano Rodríguez y Angelita Urquides De Luevano. Su ausencia será profundamente sentida, pero el amor que inspiró y los recuerdos que creó perdurarán en los corazones de su familia, amigos y vecinos.

Al reunirse en su memoria, sus familiares y seres queridos continuarán con las tradiciones que Gloria les inculcó. Celebrarán su hermosa y llena de vida el 22 de agosto de 2025 en la Funeraria Martínez de Tucson, donde se realizará un velatorio de 1:00 p. m. a 4:00 p. m. con el rezo del Rosario a las 2:30 p. m.

Gloria L. Ramos será recordada no solo por su calidez y generosidad, sino también por las innumerables vidas que conmovió con su cariño. Su legado de bondad seguirá brillando con fuerza, guiando a su familia en los años venideros.

Ramos, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 90. Born on February 17, 1935, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, Gloria was a vibrant spirit, whose cheerful and friendly nature brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Gloria created countless cherished memories, particularly during the holiday season. Christmas and New Year's were special times when she would gather her family around her, expertly cooking her famous tamales. A tradition she lovingly carried forward from her grandparents and parents to her own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. These gatherings were filled with laughter, song, and a warmth that only Gloria could provide, solidifying her role as the heart of the family.

Gloria’s life was marked by her humanitarian spirit. She was always ready to extend a helping hand, particularly to mothers with young children suffering from indigestion and nausea. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her selfless nature endeared her to many, creating a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to receive her care.

Outside of her nurturing role in her family, Gloria enjoyed collecting miniature figurines and family photo albums, which served as a window into the beautiful moments she embraced. She found pleasure in visiting casinos, where she could indulge her playful side, and she loved singing and listening to the music of the 70s which was a soundtrack that resonated with the vibrant spirit that defined her.

Gloria is survived by her devoted sons: Jesus M. Flores Luevano, Pio Alberto Daminano Luevano, Jose A. Flores, Juan G. Flores, and Jairo I. Flores, along with her loving daughter, Sandra Guadalupe Flores Luevano. She also leaves behind her brothers, Francisco Luevano Urquides and Roberto Luevano Urquides, who, alongside her family, will carry on her legacy of love and compassion.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Ramos Salas, her son, Jose Humberto Flores Luevano, and her cherished parents, Francisco Luevano Rodriguez and Angelita Urquides De Luevano. Her absence will be profoundly felt, but the love she inspired and the memories she created will endure in the hearts of her family, friends, and neighbors.

As her family and loved ones gather in remembrance, they will carry forward the traditions that Gloria instilled in all of them. They will celebrate her beautiful, spirited life on August 22, 2025, at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, where a visitation will be held starting at 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 2:30 PM.

Gloria L. Ramos will be remembered not only for her warmth and generosity but for the countless lives she touched with her affection. Her legacy of kindness will continue to shine brightly, guiding her family through the years ahead.
