As a talented entrepreneur, Gloria made her mark through various business ventures, including selling home interior decor, Jafra, and Avon products. She was also known for her exquisite arrangements of flowers for special occasions, which reflected her artistic flair and creative spirit. Gloria was not only a businesswoman but also a fierce protector of her family. Her bravery and initiative inspired those around her, and she was recognized as a healer, often sought out for her remedies that provided comfort to many.
Gloria's culinary talents were legendary, particularly her famous green corn tamales, which brought joy to family gatherings. She had a unique ability to transform her home for every occasion, decorating from top to bottom, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration that embraced her loved ones.
Her passion extended beyond her family and business. Gloria cherished her involvement with the church and took immense pride in helping those in need. She frequently organized efforts to deliver food and clothes to children in Nogales, Sonora, exemplifying her kind-hearted nature and commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Gloria is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Lorenzo Lopez. Together, they raised a loving family that includes their sons, Lorenzo Lopez Jr. (Erika) and Gerardo Lopez; daughters, Sylvia Echeverria (Jesus), Gloria Orozco (Jose), and Alma Lorena Lopez (Rafael); and a heartwarming lineage of 15 grandchildren: Karina, Briana, Citlali, Jasmin, Layla, Cyana, Diego, Natalyia, Clarissa, Yesenia, Jose Jr., Andres, Britney, Jessica, and Aracely. She also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Maria Luisa Granillo and Francisca Salomon; and her brothers, Jesus Romero and Alberto Nieblas; as well as 12 great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love and creativity.
Gloria R. Lopez will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family will forever be a guiding light. May she rest in peace, knowing that her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her most.
