Gloria Perez Acevedo

It is with profound sadness that the Acevedo Family announces the passing of Gloria P. Acevedo, cherished mother, nana, tia, and dear friend who left us on the early morning of Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 at the age of 93. Born in Tucson, AZ to Frank and Maria Perez, Gloria was known for her loving personality, humor, kindness, and quick wit. Gloria is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Sr. and her eldest son, Francisco Rene. Gloria leaves behind sons Samuel Jr., Reynaldo, eight biological grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Gloria spent her life creating a loving home for her family and working tirelessly to support them, leaving behind a great legacy of strength and love. Gloria was the heart of our family, teaching us the importance of love, laughter, family, and making the most of holidays and birthdays. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and delighted in listening and dancing to tejano and mexican music.

Gloria is survived by her husband Samuel Sr., sons Rene (Arcelia), Samuel Jr.(Gloria) and Reynaldo, grandchildren Renee (Dan), Frankie, Celina (Ruben), Melissa (Dee), Samantha (John), Joanna (Gabe), Alyssa (Kenny), Reynaldo Jr, additional grandchildren, Bridgett (Joe), Leo (Maricruz), and all of her great-grandchildren who will carry the many precious memories of their Nana, for years to come.
