Gerardo "Lucas" Mireles

We gained a Heavenly Angel on February 16, 2026. Jerry “Lucas” entered the gates of Heaven, and his spirit of love, joy, kindness and faith will live in the hearts of all who knew him. Lucas would help anyone that came his way.

He was born on October 31, 1956, in Tucson, AZ. Lucas grew up in Barrio Anita. He is survived by his fiancé, Martha Campas; brothers, Gilbert (Bea) and Gene (Irina) Mireles; as well as many nieces, nephews and Godchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Alice Mireles, brothers Tommy and Stevie Mireles. He is survived by his long-time love and partner, Martha Campas of 16 years.

Lucas was a man of good work ethics. He was employed with Alpha Graphics and St. Mary’s Hospital for many years. As a young man, he enjoyed working with the children at Oury Park and was delighted to coach basketball with them. He was a proud member of the American Legion Cocio Estrada Post 59, SAL member. Lucas was an “original” member and loved being a part of the “OG” Old Memories Car Club. He loved to dance and listen to his Tejano music, and he enjoyed listening to “the oldies” music as well.
