George P. Apalategui

Aug 23, 1965 — Aug 30, 2026

George Paul Apalategui was born on August 23, 1965, and passed away on August 30, 2026.

George courageously battled dementia for five years. Although having challenges everyday with normal tasks, he kept a steady smile and a great attitude. His strength and kindness touched everyone who knew him.

George leaves behind a beautiful legacy as a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. He had a heart for bringing people together and making sure everyone around him felt welcome. He loved to fish, dance, sing, work, and, most of all, help others. He was known for bringing friends and family together and throwing some of the biggest and most memorable parties.

His beloved dog, Jack, was his best friend and constant companion. Every Friday night, George found his outlet and joy in karaoke, where he could sing his heart out and enjoy the moment.

George is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Alvina Meza, where the two of them dance among the stars.

His memory and spirit will live on through his sons, Levi (Athena), Albert (Emilia), Chris (Janelle), and Jay (Yesi), as well as his beloved grandchildren, Devante, Oscar, Gerardito, and Penelope. His love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
